Created in 2025, Karubati is an alternative ink meant to fix the issue of synthetic inks with their chemical contents by replacing them with non-toxic and eco-friendly alternatives. This allows for less harm to consumers and our environment while still providing decent performance as an alternative ink. Karubati is aimed for eco-conscious consumers and businesses that are looking for a more eco-friendly alternative to synthetic inks.

Karubati was founded by 7 members in Compostela, Cebu. Karubati's journey started when the founder was exploring around and found Alugbati, he squished it and its juices came out. He realized how Alugbati's juices can be used as a pigment for inks, due to its color and its ability to stain very well in paper and fabrics. Ever since then, they have been trying to refine and improve Karubati's formulation to make it a go-to eco-friendly ink for consumers with performance as good as synthetic inks.
